2. After lunch, drive to the famous Badaling Great Wall for hiking will last about 2 hours. Cable car is available but optional.

3. Then you are returned to the downtown Beijing to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the tour, transfer you back to your hotel.

Forbidden CityDay 3: Beijing (B, L)
1. Pick you up from hotel, and then drive to the Tiananmen Square and Forbidden City (including the Exhibition of Treasures).

- Forbidden City: the best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world.

2. After move on to the Lama Temple to have 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. Then head to the Olympic Stadium where you have about 45 minutes to take pictures at the Bird’s Nest and water cube.

Although it was freezing, we visited the Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace, and they are still beautiful to see. All are larger than Forbidden City, but the supporting imperial buildings. Definitely a knowledgeable, Laura, explained us the tons of interesting spots in Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace which are the parks for local people to relax in morning. What I enjoyed most was watching the Chinese in their everyday life playing games with each other, playing music, etc. Such huge parks were really worth to visit with a variety of Chinese historical sites for whole day.
